FAQ'S

How long have you been a DJ?

I have been a DJ for nearly a decade. I have done anything from backyard weddings to black-tie weddings, and almost everything in between.

How many weddings have you done?

I have DJ'd about 200 weddings and counting.

What is your travel fee?

I do not charge for a travel fee! Weddings over two hours from Saint Charles, MO do require a hotel reservation for the night of the wedding.

What happens if you have an emergency and cannot make the event?

In case of an emergency on your wedding date, I have a large network of talented and professional DJ's that would do a great job in my absence. Thankfully, I have never had to use this option.

Do you bring backup equipment?

The equipment that I use is all professional grade. Should something happen, I do bring backup equipment just in case.

Do you take breaks?

When I need to step away from the DJ booth for a few minutes, I take breaks at the appropriate time and mix the music to make it sound seamless.

Are you also an emcee?

I do emcee throughout the event. I am assertive and professional on the microphone to ensure that guests hear the important information. I typically introduce the wedding party, bride and groom, announce the first dances, and announce when the dance floor is open. If you have anything you would like me to announce, I am flexible on the day of and can help with that.

Will you bless the food before dinner?

Typically the officiant, father of the bride, or another designated person will bless the food prior to dinner. Should you need me to, I am happy to pray over the dinner.

How much time is included in your packages?

Ceremony and reception coverage is 7 hours long which includes a cocktail hour. Reception only coverage is 5 hours long and also includes a cocktail hour, if needed. I am happy to include additional time in the contract for an hourly rate if you need extra coverage.

Does your time include set-up and tear-down?

The contracted time does not include set-up and tear-down time. We typically arrive two hours before start time to ensure time for a sound check and to check in with the other vendors. Tear down is quick after the last song is played. The 5 hour or 7 hour packages mean that I am actively playing music for 5 or 7 hours.

Do you require a deposit?

A $350 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract are required to secure your event date.

When is the full payment due?

The full payment is due one month before the event. If you would like to set up a payment plan, we will happily accommodate that.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, Venmo, ApplePay, CashApp, or PayPal.

Do you take song requests?

I am happy to take song requests from guests. Many couples provide me with a "must play" and "do not play" list of songs. I will not play a song request if it is on the "do not play" list.
